Nahila and Bernard shared a traditional spanish catholic ceremony at the beautiful St. John the Baptist Catherdral downtown Charleston SC. Guests were treated to 4 sets of entertainment, each to designate a specific part of the evening. The cocktail hour was held at the Octagonal Garden at Middleton Place, while Peter Kiral ofCharleston Virtousi played electric violin. Guests were greeted with one of the brides favorite bottles of chilled champagne, parasols and fans that were hand painted by the bride's Mother. The venue was garnished with lush ivory florals by Out of the Garden. One of Christine's favorite installations was the raining white delphinium that were centered over the 18 foot head table. To die for!!! The guests enjoyed a specialty rum bar - featuring the groom's favorite rums from Nicaragua and Venezuela, Venezuelan dessert with alfajores, papitas de leche, polvorosas accompanied with macaroons, mini tarts and cakes. La Hora Loca was one of the highlights of the evening with tons of party flair. We had two Hora Loca's, each with their own theme and gold confetti cannons that went off to start of each one. The 1st Hora Loca was a 70s theme with flower crowns, peace signs, afro wigs, sunglasses, and mustaches. The 2nd Hora Loca was filled with lots of fun light up glasses, head bands, inflatable champagne bottles and foam glow sticks. Even a Venezuelan food truck came towards the end of the evening to serve some traditional late night snacks and mini bottles of Don Julio - a perfect way to end the night! We sent this beautiful couple off with a traditional sparkler send off. Mac & B Events wishes these love birds a long a happy marriage! Cheers!
