For once Carri put down her clipboard, took off her black dress and slipped into a stunning white wedding gown to marry her best friend Trip. It was magical seeing Carri transition from wedding planner extraordinaire into a beautiful blushing bride.
To start the day off, Carri's best friend Kristen, who owns the Silver Starfish, let all of the girls get ready in her studio on King St. If you have never been into the Silver Starfish before, just know that IT. IS. AMAZING. You could spend all day in the Silver Starfish admiring all of their pretty stationary and their alluring decor. Kristen has amazing taste!
The photos portrayed their wedding day perfectly. Aaron and Jillian cease to amaze me. I struggled going through 900 photos of Carri and Trip.... I wanted to upload every single one of them; it was absolutely impossible to narrow them down. Aaron and Jillian have amazing attention to detail, which you will notice through their work. BRAVO! Literally clapping right now.
Now, lets talk about the bridesmaids. These ladies made the perfect girl squad, each unique in their own way. So naturally, Carri chose individual sihouettes for each girl, styled in different shades of neutral. Wait until you see them all together! Making it the perfect celebration, the girls brought champagne to the bridal party photo session. Carri literally popped champagne with her fabulous friends in her Grandmother's vintage mink coat Downtown Charleston. FLAWLESS. Drop the mic.
Carri and Trip were truly made for each other. Each are so cute and quirky in their own way. They are the definition of a power couple. It was such a honor to coordinate this wedding day of at The Mills House. They were surrounded by loving friends, caring family, and phenomenal vendors throughout the night. Congratulations and cheers to Carri and Trip, may you celebrate a long and happy marriage!
