James Beard Foundation 'Taste America'

The James Beard Foundation 'Taste America' mission is to "celebrate, nurture, and honor America's diverse culinary heritage through programs that educate and inspire". JBF Taste America was held in the Cedar Room at The Cigar Factory on September 25, 2015. The night began with a tasting reception featuring an outstanding lineup of a few Charleston favorites: Jeremiah Bacon, Craig Deihl, Kevin Johnson, Josh Keeler, and Jason Stanhope. Then the night followed with an exlculsive four-course seated dinner designed by Art Smith and Mike Lata, with dessert designed by Lauren Mitterer. The atmosphere was full of exquisite food, fine chefs, and a few local celebrities. Taste America raised over $100,000 for their cause and became an absolute unforgettable night. We could not have executed this event without the help of all of our fabulous local vendors here in Charleston, SC. So again, Thank you!
